Bottled gas is stored in LPG (liquid petroleum gas) bottles, cylinders or larger vessels and is primarily used as heating, hot water, cooking etc.
Please note the mass refers to the mass of gas each cylinder contains when filled to the correct capacity. It does not include the weight of the cylinder.
1 kg of gas is equivalent to approximately 1.96 litres of liquid petroleum gas.
Gas prices will vary by province.
Description
A 48 kilogram capacity bottle with 48 kilograms of gas included. This size is ideal for heavy users (heating, water heating and cooking etc).
Non-exchange cylinders are supplied to customers who need additional spare gas cylinders, who have purchased a new gas appliance and do not have an existing gas cylinder etc.
This is thus for people who do not have an empty gas bottle to exchange, ie for new gas customers with new installations.
We deliver the filled gas cylinder to you.
Please note supply of non-exchange gas bottles is subject to availability from the manufacturers and delivery times will vary.
In the event of a possible delivery delay in your region due to stock shortages we will mark the product as ‘available on back order’ Please feel free to place your order and contact us so that we communicate expected arrival and delivery times to you. Delays are usually only a few days.

We always deliver gas as quickly as possible and your gas should therefore arrive within the below delivery windows.
We do not offer an after hours delivery service.
We cannot guarantee specific delivery times.
Estimated arrival times can be communicated to you as soon as we are able to make accurate predictions.
We deliver during ‘normal’ office hours and usually complete deliveries by 5pm. If there are delays or during peak demand periods we may deliver later than 5pm.
In the event of a delay or later than expected delivery situation, we will communicate with you as soon as we are aware of the situation.
We do not deliver on public holidays.
Weekend deliveries (AVAILABLE IN GAUTENG ONLY) are only guaranteed when a RAPID DELIVERY order has been placed.
